It is fitted with a double shock-absorbing flywheel, which helps greatly to keep engine noise under control and increases the maneuverability of the gearbox. Available as standard with the 2.0 Twin Spark, 3.0 V6 24V on the Alfa 166 and as a standard with the 2.0 Twin Spark 16V and 3.2 V6 24V engines on the Alfa 147 GTA and 156 GTA.
